At Bridle Trail Veterinary Clinic, we are equipped to see certain veterinary emergencies during our regular hours for current patients. Please call us at (905) 477-1190 prior to your arrival so that we may prepare for you and your pet.
After Hours Emergencies
To improve access to veterinary care for all patients, we have teamed up with a company named Smart.Vet. Smart.Vet allows you, our clients, access to Registered Veterinary Technicians over the phone whenever our hospital is not open to take your call. These RVTs can speak with you to ascertain the level of care that your pet requires, and will then facilitate scheduling an appointment with one of their licensed Ontario-based veterinarians. If your pet requires critical in-person intervention, the RVT will be able to determine this over the phone with you and will assist you by making arrangements for your pet to be transferred for physical care.
This is not a free advice line, however, there is no cost to speak to the RVT.
