Nevena Hristova, DVM

Dr. Nevena Hristova is a 1999 veterinary school graduate from Bulgaria. She had a previous degree in veterinary pharmacology. After graduation, she worked at a small animal veterinary clinic in Bulgaria for several years. After she moved to Canada, she worked as a veterinary assistant in an emergency clinic where she was exposed to a high volume of cases, gained a lot of emergency experience, and was mentored by a variety of specialists. In 2017, she got her certificate of qualification from the CVMA and obtained her CVO license to practice in Canada. Her primary interests are in emergency medicine and surgery. She also helps foster our stray kittens occasionally.

During her free time, she likes to meet up with friends, sew, and hang out with her 2 girls, husband, and 2 fluffy cats at home.
